Responsible for servicing existing loan portfolio, developing new loan, deposit and financial services relationships and collecting past due loans.
-Determines financial needs with existing and prospective customers.
-Reviews loan analyses to determine credit worthiness of loan prospects
-Prepares loan packages for and presents to the Credit Committee
-Works with customers to determine mutually acceptable lending arrangements
-Monitors current loans and credit lines to ensure conformity with loan terms and to detect slow payment trends or deterioration in collateral or the customer's financial condition.
-Calls on potential customers and introduces the Bank's financial products and services
-Visits with existing customers regarding additional needs
-Visits with referral sources regarding new business
-Contacting and working with attorneys, accountants, title companies, appraisers
-Maintains awareness of and involvement in community, civic and professional activities
-Attends and participates in Bank meetings
-Determines disposition of daily overdrafts
-Other responsibilities, duties and projects as assigned
-Must have minimum of 5 years experience in lending
-Formal training in credit analysis
-Extensive knowledge of commercial lending regulations and procedures
-Excellent analytical skills
-Effective negotiation skills
-Highly organized
-PC proficiency - Excel, Word
-Must be able to work in a fast paced environment with frequent interruptions
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Excellent customer relation skills
-Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field is required.
