Bay Ltd. is currently seeking an experienced Project Coordinator. The Project Coordinator reports to the Division Project Manager and is responsible for tracking project data related to RFI s, production reports, billing documents, and cost reports. JOB FUNCTIONS: Coordinate the tracking of project records such as material tickets, quantity reporting forms, billing documents, RFI s, submittals, and production reports. Find solutions to job issues and contributes solutions to the project. Understand the baseline and current job schedule, job duration, and contract schedule. Knowledgeable about daily or weekly job meetings, and status of RFI s and submittals. Analyze various types of data involving cost, production, material yields, budgets, pay applications, and change orders. Know and understand cost codes, DBE goals, monetary commitments, current job status, current phasing, and traffic control situations. Communicate to Project Management any discrepancies with pay estimates. Produce current, true, and accurate daily work quantity forms. Understand job status with regards to material yields and be able to provide status update to main office. Coordinate with Project Management and Cost Department on quantity reporting form, heavy job, estimates, status on budget and commitments, timesheets, requisitions, etc. Communicate with project team including managers and superintendents to ensure a smooth project from start to finish, and act as a liaison between project managers and estimators. Perform general mathematic calculations and understand basic measurement. Ensure compliance of all safety procedures and policies while promoting Bay s safety culture. Perform other duties assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or GED required. 2-3 years minimum hands-on experience. Ability to read, understand, and interpret contract documents including drawings, specifications, contracts, scopes of work, and project schedule. Good attention to detail, self-driven, eager to learn and have the ability to recognize discrepancies. Demonstrate knowledge of heavy civil construction standards/specifications. Must be able to work non-routine hours when necessary, and spend 30-60 percent of their time in the field. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and PDF. Must possess a current and valid Driver s License. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred. Ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written with customers, client, and employees at all levels. Bay Ltd. is an Equal Opportunity Employer
