Job Description:/h3:
The Sales Representative will be responsible for meeting or exceeding individual sales objectives and initiatives for all accounts assigned to him/her while adhering to all company policies. They will be directly responsible for capturing new customers and increasing sales revenue from the existing customer base within an assigned market. They will effectively manage the overall health of their assigned accounts by delivering profitable growth. They will rely on their extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals in alignment with business objectives. Position reports to VP of Sales and Marketing.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
People Management and Team Development: Manages ten (10) or more accounts
Conduct formal performance reviews with assigned accounts on an annual basis
Provide weekly/monthly updates on performance metrics to lead into formalized annual reviews
Develop and successfully execute fundamental and functional plans

Business, Territory and Sales Management and Development:
:Effectively articulate the value proposition associated with the full product offering from multiple industries including but not limited to janitorial, hardware, tools, plumbing, and electrical
:Manage individual sales development and execute key strategies to meet all assigned objectives within assigned markets
:Continuously manage profitability of all assigned accounts and take corrective action where required
:Introduce/propose new products and business lines where appropriate
:Engage cross:team functional resources to achieve set goals and exceed customer expectations in a cohesive manner
Develop/Execute detailed sales plans to support and meet sales goals
Execute regularly scheduled calls on all assigned accounts
Prepare sales reports as needed/requested
Utilize and leverage the CRM to manage accounts and pipeline to drive new and increased revenue and capture customer touch:points




Relationship Building:
:Become a trusted advisor to our customers while staying abreast of current industry trends and products to solve specific market needs and requirements
Verbal and written communications with customers is key, as it is with internal contacts, to ensure maximum efficiency
Contribute your personal knowledge and expertise to those around you to increase team
knowledge/performance
Be open, honest and direct with supervisor
Will work under moderate supervision directed by policies, procedures and individual job objectives per job description

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
2 years of sales and/or marketing experience with a strong emphasis on sales skills that reflect leadership, motivation, a drive for results and welcome accountability and organizational strategy
Industry experience and working knowledge of industrial applications and customers is preferred (not required).
Possess excellent negotiation skills and the ability to create and maintain a strong relationship
Strong verbal and written communication skills; including the ability to give presentations.
Must have a strong attention to detail and follow:up skills
Strong financial forecasting and analytical skills
Requires robust technical proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
Ability to Innovate and implement selling solutions as needed
Strong time management, organization and prioritization
